The ACC has five teams ranked in D1Softball's Top 25, setting the stage for a highly entertaining ACC Softball Tournament. The top 12 teams from the conference will head to the campus of Boston College with hopes of claiming the tournament title.
Florida State is ranked as the top seed going into this year's tournament. The Seminoles finished the regular season with a 44-8 overall record and an 18-3 record in the conference. Florida State did lose its last regular-season game to No. 15 Virginia Tech, but the Seminoles had secured the series before that game.
Clemson (41-12) enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed with a league-best 19-5 conference record. Virginia Tech, 2024 Tournament winner Duke and Stanford round out the top five seeds. All but four teams enter the tournament with a record above .500.
