India vs. Oman Asia Cup match predicted XIs, team news

India has been heavily relying on their spin. The trio of Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, and Axar Patel have collectively scalped 12 wickets together in three matches and would play a crucial role going into the Super Four stage.

With India already qualified for the Super Four, their ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah could be given rest here against Oman due to his workload management, allowing one between Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh

With Oman in front, India might think of tweaking their final batting lineup, allowing Rinku Singh or Jitesh Sharma to get some games.

India predicted XI: Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (wk), Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh/Jitesh Sharma, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Arshdeep Singh/Harshit Rana.

Oman were coming into this Asia Cup with a lot of expectations, but they were shattered with the early exit from the tournament.

The gulf nation made three changes to their final lineup, bringing Wasim Ali, Aryan Bisht, and Jiten Ramanandi against UAE.

Karan Sonavale, who is still on the bench, could be added to their lineup against India, while Nadeem Khan is still waiting for his debut.

On the pace bowling front, Faisal Shah and Hassnain Ali Shah have been their two primary pacers, and they are likely to retain their place. Shakeel Ahmed and Samay Shrivastava could play an important role with their spin.

Oman predicted XI: Jatinder Singh (c), Aamir Kaleem, Hammad Mirza, Vinayak Shukla (wk), Shakeel Ahmed, Hassnain Ali Shah, Aryan Bisht, Samay Shrivastava, Mohammad Nadeem, Wasim Ali, Faisal Shah.
