The team's head coach remains Serbian national Veselin Matic.

From the above table, it is quite clear that the national team is going young with only four veterans - aged 28 or above - on the squad.

Meanwhile, four of the seven players aged 21 or younger are former NBA Academy India student-athletes.

Who are NBA Academy India alumni on the roster?

The four NBA Academy India alumni on this roster are Princepal Singh, Pranav Prince, Arvind Kumar and Prashant Singh Rawat.

While the trio of Singh, Kumar and Rawat were part of the NBA Academy India's first class of 21 student-athletes when it opened in May of 2017, Prince joined the Academy in 2018.

Price is making his return to the team from a broken bone in his left forearm, an injury he suffered just a minute into his senior team debut during the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifying Tournament in Aug. 2021.
