The Dallas Mavericks are looking to secure their first playoff series win since their championship season in 2011.

The Mavericks defeated the Jazz comfortably in Game 5, 102-77, to take a commanding 3-2 lead heading into Thursday's game in Utah.

They will have to exorcise some demons, though.

It was just last season that the Mavs led the Clippers 3-2 in their first-round playoff series and wound up losing the last two games of that series.

"I don't even remember that. I don't even remember last year," Dallas forward Dorian Finney-Smith joked. "Nah, but we put ourselves in a great spot. We've just got to handle our business in Utah."

For Utah, Donovan Mitchell has declared himself ready to play after limping off in Game 5. An MRI later revealed he has bilateral quadriceps contusions.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert also has to deal with a swollen face from bee stings. Yes, bee stings.

Can Dallas close this series out in Utah, or will they be heading back to Dallas for a Game 7?

Here's what you need to know ahead of Game 6.
