The NBA season is still two months away but the favourites for the individual end of season awards have been released.

For the second-straight season, Luka Doncic opens as the favourite to win MVP, while reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo comes in with the fourth-best odds. Reigning Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic enters the 2021-22 season with the eighth-best odds to repeat.

The Los Angeles Lakers have three players in the top 15 odds to win MVP, with LeBron James holding the best odds at +1400.

2021-22 Odds to win Rookie of the Year

No.1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft Cade Cunningham enters the season as the favourite to win Rookie of the Year, followed by No. 2 overall pick Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets. 

Outside of the top two selections, No.5 pick Jalen Suggs of the Orlando Magic comes in third, followed by the Toronto Raptors No. 4 pick Scottie Barnes. 

The Rockets have two rookies in the top 10 with Aperen Sengun coming in with the sixth best odds for the award.

Following his impressive season in Oklahoma City Thunder, Canadian guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the pack alongside New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson. 

The Houston Rockets have two players inside the top 10 in Kevin Porter Jr. and Christan Wood, while Toronto Raptors big man Chris Boucher sits at the 11th-best odds to win Most Improved Player of the Year.
