Harry Kane's big money move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich a couple of years ago proved to be a great transfer for all the parties.
The 32-year-old made an instant impact in the Bundesliga as the German giants desperately needed someone who could carry the mantle after Robert Lewandowski's era in Bavaria.
Kane has shown exceptional consistency in front of goal for the Bavarians as he helped them reclaim the Bundesliga title last season therefore ending his infamous trophy curse.
He still continues to be one of the most crucial players and leaders in this Bayern Munich team led by manager Vincent Kompany in a crucial 2025/26 campaign.
However, the English media sees this move as an act to win a few trophies as they expect the England captain to return to the Premier League.
Kane has 213 Premier League goals before his switch to Bundesliga, and he only need 48 more goals to trump Alan Shearer for the top scorer spot. Hence fans believe that he may return to England to earn that record.

Recently, Michael Owen criticized Kane's move to Bayern Munich as the former Tottenham striker feels there's no value in winning the Bundesliga given the track record of the Bavarians.
Owen was one of the English football pundits, who strongly opposed Kane's Bundesliga switch in 2023, and he remains consistent on his stance.
Apart from Owen's criticism, there were some reports from Raphael Honigstein suggesting that Bayern are preparing for life after Kane as they are unsure about the Englishman's future beyond next summer.
How did Kane respond to Owen's Bundesliga criticism?
Kane has been the epitome of consistency for Bayern Munich as he has netted 91 goals in 100 appearances for the German giants.
He scored 40-plus goals in the last two seasons for the Bavarians as he finished the Bundesliga top scorer in both the campaigns hence lifting the prestigious Kicker-Torjägerkanone award twice.

Kane, who netted a goal for England in their 5-0 win over Serbia in World Cup qualifier fixture, came up with a strong response to Owen's criticism.
"I heard it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion," he stated as quoted by Standard Sport. "I've spent a bit of time with him but don't know him well. Obviously he is a Premier League great and an England great as well so I'll respect him as a person. But ultimately, as he will know, everyone's career is different - everyone's decisions and motivations are different.
"I know he was insinuating I went just for the trophy but it was to be at the highest level for as long as possible and I'm really happy in that sense of playing big games, title runs, big Champions League matches, Club World Cup quarter-final. I feel I'm improving as a player, I'm pushing my limits as a player in terms of goalscoring and just improving.
"It's hard not to hear things these days but the decisions are best for me and I'm really happy that I made that decision and very happy at Bayern Munich now."
The 32-year-old has started the new season with six goals from four games across all competitions and will be crucial for Bayern Munich as they aim to defend the Bundesliga crown whilst their Champions League push.
