The 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup will begin on June 1 in Uzbekistan with the final expected to be played on June 19. 

Originally scheduled to take place in January, the tournament was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Games will be played across four stadiums in Uzbekistan with the majority to be contested in Tashkent. 

A total of 16 nations have qualified for the tournament and they have been split into four groups. 

The AFC U23 Asian Cup was previously known as the AFC U23 Championship but was renamed in 2021.
