Despite Estevao Willian being only 18 years old, Chelsea manager has placed his full trust in him this season.
The Brazilian arrived at Stamford Bridge having never played in Europe before, but Maresca has indulged the winger in seven appearances in all competitions, including four starts in the Premier League.
While the youngster has looked impressive so far, he clearly has a lot to learn about football at the highest level, and so it's not surprising to see his seniors give him instructions from time to time.
For instance, Reece James was seen giving Estevao Willian some instructions during Chelsea’s last Premier League game against Brighton.
Further, though Estevao Willian is yet to score a goal for Chelsea and has managed just one assist so far.
But Enzo Maresca is impressed with what he has seen from the young winger and heaped praise on him for his performances so far.

Enzo Maresca praises Estevao Willian for showing quality at Chelsea
Despite a slow start to life at Chelsea, Enzo Maresca believes that Estevao’s quality is coming through and has been pleased with his performances.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League game against Benfica, Maresca told Chelsea’s official club website and other outlets: “He is doing very well.”

“We have already said it’s not easy to come to Europe at 18 years old at a big club like Chelsea and show immediately the quality he has. We are very happy with him.“He’s a very good boy, he’s happy, and he’s what we need in terms of energy.”
Maresca substituted Estevao in Chelsea’s previous match, which caused quite the reaction. The Brazil international could start in the Blues’ game against Benfica, but Maresca has plenty of other attacking options, even with Cole Palmer out injured.
