Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are all set to face off in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal on May 7, at the Parc des Princes.

The Gunners lost 1-0 in the first leg at Emirates Stadium as Ousmane Dembele netted an early winner for the Ligue 1 champions.

The incoming clash gives both sides the chance to secure a spot in the final, as they fight it out to win their first-ever UCL trophy.

PSG have already clinched the French title, as Arsenal fell short in the Premier League race, so European glory is now the sole objective for Mikel Arteta and his old friend Luis Enrique.

Ahead of the clash, three former EPL stars- turned-pundits have shared their predictions for the Champions League second leg as Arsenal land in Paris.

Rio Ferdinand's PSG vs. Arsenal prediction

In the latest edition of his podcast, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand had mixed feelings about how Arsenal will get on in Paris. The ex-England international claimed the Gunners are the only club who have a chance against the Ligue 1 champions at home, but they need the right 'mindset.'

"If there is a team who can go to PSG and win, it's Arsenal. I don’t think it’s about ability at this stage, I think it’s about mentality and belief. In Bukayo Saka they’ve got a match winner who can turn the game on its head. There’s positives there but if the mindset isn’t right, they will get smoked, I’m telling you.

"The problem for Arsenal is PSG are a proper team, I don’t think they’re invincible but they’ve been the best team in the Champions League."

Alan Shearer's PSG vs. Arsenal prediction

Alan Shearer shared his thoughts on Arsenal's trip to Paris on the Rest is Football podcast prior to Inter Milan bagging a 7-6 aggregate win over Barcelona to reach the final.

Speaking ahead of both semifinals, Shearer expressed confidence in PSG winning against Arsenal, but he called the Barca game incorrectly.

Davide Frattesi

"I think PSG will beat Arsenal and there will be a twist in the Inter-Barca game, but I think Barca will just edge it. So, PSG-Barca final," he said.

Gary Neville's PSG vs. Arsenal prediction

Gary Neville backed Arsenal to have a fighting chance against PSG, claiming the Gunners 'can do it.'

Speaking on the Gary Neville podcast, the former Man United star mentioned Arsenal need to establish their dominance from the start to win.

"I genuinely think Arsenal can do it, I think they can go to Paris Saint-Germain and do it. You can go there, they get quite nervous in that stadium, there's such an expectation, they build themselves up, it will be a hostile atmosphere for the first 10, 15, 20 minutes and if PSG score it will continue to be hostile because they'll be right at it.

"However, if you get a goal, and I think Arsenal definitely can, whether it be from a set-piece, a counter attack or a bit of brilliance, you can see and feel it changing in that stadium."

Arsenal and PSG have faced each other on six occasions, with the Gunners sealing two wins, as PSG have won once, with three draws.
