After his amazing display in the Indian Premier League, where he features for the Punjab Kings, the young right-handed opener has now proved his merit at the first-class stage.
India A are currently facing Australia A in a series decider at the Green Park stadium in Kanpur. The two sides were facing each other in a 3-match ODI series ahead of India's big white-ball tour.
Opening the innings, Prabhsimran smashed a 66-ball ton, ending with 102 off 68 balls. Facing a strong Australia A bowling attack, he unleashed on the bowlers as his superb knock included 8 Fours and 7 maximums.

The young star, who hails from Punjab, has been closely mentored by Yuvraj Singh and has a similar style of aggressive approach.
With consistent performances in the IPL and domestic cricket, the batter is strengthening his case for an India call-up. However, with a fray of batters, including Gill, Abhishek, and Jaiswal already in line, the young star needs to pull off an exceptional display of batting to make it to the side.
