In a historic move, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has named an all-female umpire panel for the upcoming edition of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.
The International board has announced the list of 14 umpires and 4 match referees that will take to the field to conduct the games at the marquee event set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup is all set to begin on Sept. 30 in Guwahati, where hosts India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the season opener.

The ICC has consistently supported the growth of women’s cricket, and this move further strengthens that commitment.
The last two Women’s T20 World Cups and the 2022 Commonwealth Games featured all-female umpire panels, but this is the first time in a 50-over World Cup.

When is the Women's World Cup starting?
The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup is set to commence on Sept. 30 and will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The finals will be played on Nov. 2.
The tournament will feature a total of 8 teams that will play every other team once during the league stages, which will be followed by the knockout fixture.
