Abhishek Sharma, the world number one T20I batter, was one of the players who dominated Pakistan in their recent face-offs in the Asia Cup. India came at the top on all three occasions, including in the final, to eventually lift the title.

With his swashbuckling batting at the top, Abhishek scored 110 runs at a strike rate of 189.65 in the three meetings. He was also awarded the player of the match for scoring 74(39) in a 172-run chase against Pakistan during the Super Four clash.

Addressing the opener's explosive approach, Pakistan bowler Ihsanullah has made bold claims and predicted the outcome if he gets a chance to bowl at the southpaw.

'Will dismiss him in 3 balls': Ihsanullah on bowling to Abhishek Sharma

Earlier in January of this year, Pakistan speedster Ihsanullah had made a decision to retire from all formats at just 22, citing no support from the PCB or Pakistan Super League franchises, who did not pick him in the 2025 drafts.

However, he reversed his decision in under 24 hours and confirmed his availability for the PSL and the national team.

Over the past two years, the bowler has consistently been on the sidelines due to his elbow issues, which the PCB allegedly mismanaged. He also missed the recent Asia Cup due to a lack of match fitness.

"If I play against India and get to bowl to Abhishek Sharma, he will not be able to hit me. I will only need 3 balls to dismiss him easily," said the bowler in a viral video.

After making his international debut in 2023, the fast bowler has represented Pakistan in a solitary ODI and four T20I matches, taking six international wickets.

He last played an international match a month after his debut in April 2023, before his elbow issues started.

On the other hand, Pakistan is currently preparing for the two-match Test series against South Africa, which starts at home on October 12.
