India and Pakistan came head-to-head once again in the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 tournament. The two faced off in the Pool C clash at Mong Kok on Friday, November 7.
Before facing India, Pool C leaders Pakistan defeated Kuwait by 4 wickets, chasing down 124 runs in 6 overs. Captain Abbas Afridi scored 55(12) alongside Shahid Aziz's 23*(5).

On the other hand, India opened their tournament with this rain-affected match and clinched the game by a close margin of 2 runs, as per the Duckworth-Lewis method.

Uthappa provides a strong start to India
Former India wicketkeeper batter Robin Uthappa scored three sixes and two fours in his blistering knock of 28(11) to give India a head start upon being asked to bat first.
On the other end, Bharat Chipli struggled to get going before he managed to score two fours and two sixes from 10*(8) at one point.
Muhammad Shahzad scalps two in one over
The 21-year-old Muhammad Shahzad scalped two big wickets in an over to send Uthappa and Stuart Binny to the pavilion. He finished with 2/15 in his solitary over.

Dinesh Karthik finishes on a high note:
Captain Karthik did not take any time to settle in and started off with back-to-back fours, followed by a six in his six-ball stay at the crease. With his 17(*6), he guided India to 86/4.
Stuart Binny leads the bowling attack to secure India's win:
Binny's outstanding 1/7 in his only over put Pakistan on the back foot. He dismissed the opener Maaz Sadaqat for 7(3), leading to Pakistan's 2-run defeat on the virtue of the Duckworth-Lewis method.
While Abhimanyu Mithun and Shahbaz Nadeem started their overs well, they ended up conceding boundaries to finish with 0/18 and 0/16, respectively.
