The presentation ceremony, which was delayed by 1.5 hours after the game, became a talking point. India refused to accept the Asia Cup trophy from the PCB Chairman, and in a dramatic end, it did not receive the well-deserved title.

Suryakumar Yadav's witty response to a Pakistani reporter

Following a series of controversial events and a handshake row earlier, India decided to boycott the presentation ceremony, with Mohsin Naqvi at the centre of it.

The ceremony started after a long wait of more than an hour, and the exact reason for this has not been disclosed.

India eventually did not receive the trophy, which shocked fans and experts alike. ACC had informed the side that they would not receive their awards, while the reason for this was not revealed.

However, it can be speculated that India decided not to collect the trophy from ACC Chairman Naqvi. While is the Asian cricket chief, he also holds the position as PCB chairman and Pakistan's interior minister, which clashes with India's boycott of the Pakistan state.

In the post-match press conference, the Indian skipper stole the show with his witty and hilarious reply to a Pakistani reporter.

When asked about India's conduct against Pakistan, where they refused to shake hands, called off the pre-final photoshoot, and refused to receive the trophy from Pakistan's interior minister, the India captain came up with a hilarious reply.

"Gussa ho rahe ho aap? said Surya with a big smile, which drew a lot of laughs in the intensely charged atmosphere.

India's decision to abstain from the presentation was a strong statement about its stand against terrorism and cross-border tensions that go beyond the spirit of sportsmanship.

It's a clear standoff between two big cricketing nations, and how the cricketing world reacts to such a scenario remains to be seen. There has been no official word from any of the concerned bodies over the matter
