Rohit Sharma inspiring Nex Gen India stars - India ODI captain shares valuable experiences with U19 boys image

India's ODI captain Rohit Sharma is currently spending some time in the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru to prepare himself for India's upcoming 50-over series against Australia on an away tour.

Sharma, who was last seen in action in the Indian Premier League 2025 season for Mumbai Indians, has not played competitive cricket for months.

Following the conclusion of the 18th season of the IPL, the India Test team visited England for a five-match red-ball series. After that, the Indian T20 side are currently in Dubai to compete in the Asia Cup 2025 under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav.

With Rohit now retired from two out of three formats, the stalwart got some much-needed break before getting back to action for the Men in Blue.

During his time at BCCI's CoE, Sharma caught up with the India U-19 side, who were preparing for their upcoming youth ODI series against Australia.

On Saturday, BCCI shared some photos on social media where Sharma can be seen imparting valuable advice for the India colts ahead of their tough away tour.

What next for the Indian cricket team?

The senior Indian cricket team will be back in action on Sunday as they take on arch-rivals Pakistan in a Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
