Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have been predominantly a batting powerhouse ever since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008.

The height of their dominance with the bat was witnessed during the 2010s, when the holy trinity of Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, and AB de Villiers were at the peak of their powers.

That is somewhat still the case. The batting lineup of RCB in IPL 2024, comprising of the likes of Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Cameron Green, Rajat Patidar, Will Jacks, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik etc. are relied upon to help the team win games.

However, the bowling this season has been as bad as ever. On April 15, 2024, RCB bowlers conceded 287 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, with SRH breaking their own record of the highest team total in an IPL game.

In this article, The Sporting News takes a look at the number of times RCB have conceded 200 runs or more in a game.
