As per The Age, the offer was presented informally by an Indian franchise. It included a deal in which both players would represent the franchise across various leagues around the globe while giving up playing international cricket.

Cummins and Head deny INR 58 Cr to play for Australia

While the offer was big and mouth-watering, both Cummins and Head are understood to have denied the offers. Both the Aussies are currently focused on playing for their country and have no intentions to quit international cricket.

Cummins and Head are currently a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League. The duo is an integral part of the side. Cummins is the skipper, while Head opens the batting for SRH

What was the salary of Cummins and Head at the IPL 2025?

The Aussie duo was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for the IPL 2025. Cummins, the Australian ODI and Test skipper, received a salary of INR 18 Cr, while Head bagged INR 14 Cr ahead of the tournament.

The 'quit Australia offer' would have given the duo more than three times their original salary and provided them with a huge financial boost throughout the year.

How much does the duo earn as Australian Cricketers?

According to The Age, the top-level Australian cricketers earn around INR 8.74 Cr annually. Pat Cummins, however, is their current ODI and Test skipper and bags almost double the amount for a year.

Cummins reportedly gets around INR 17.5 Cr. per year to play for his country. This is still less than his IPL salary and almost four times less than the offer that was presented to the star all-rounder.

However, their refusals to quit international cricket are a testimony to their passion, pride, and dedication to playing for their nation
