How many IPL titles have the Mumbai Indians won?
The Mumbai Indians, who lost their opening match of IPL 2023 by eight wickets to Royal Challengers Bangalore, have won five IPL titles, the most of any team.
They won their first in 2013, before going on to run the IPL for much of the decade, winning in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.

Based in Mumbai, the Indians are one of the IPL's founding clubs, established in 2008.
Since then, they have gone on to become the most successful franchises in the competition's history, winning five league titles between 2013 and 2020.
They also won two titles in the Champions League Twenty20, in 2011 and 2013.
The team became the first in the IPL to be valued at over $100 million, crossing the threshold in 2017. As of 2019, the franchise was valued at around $115 million.
