'You know it's out' - Jasprit Bumrah's witty remark to umpire after DRS gives not out decision in IND vs WI 2nd Test image

West Indies opener John Campbell scored his maiden Test century in Delhi, ending the West Indies batters' seven-year wait for a century against India in Tests.

Having taken a 270-run first innings lead, India asked WI to follow on, hoping to dismantle them under 270 and win another match by an innings.

However, Campbell and Shai Hope's resilient batting display ensured that the visitors got a lead with their 177-run stand for the third wicket.

While the batters continued with their partnership on the morning of Day 4, India pacer Jasprit Bumrah's witty remark towards umpire Richard Illingworth went viral on the internet.

What did Jasprit Bumrah tell the umpire?

The incident occurred at 54.5, when Bumrah's ball hit Campbell's pads as he tried to move across the line to hit a drive. However, despite an appeal, the umpire did not budge, and India used the DRS.

The result on the screen shocked everyone; the ultra-edge showed a slight spike on its way to the southpaw's pad, and India lost the review.

While walking back to his bowling mark, Bumrah engaged in a funny conversation with umpire Richard Illingworth and said, "You know it's out, but the technology can't prove it," and walked off with a smile.

Moments later, Campbell reached his maiden Test match century, which eluded him for 25 Tests.

Before being dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja, Campbell scored 115(199) with the help of 12 fours and three sixes to help the visitors close down the gap and take the lead.
