India will travel to Australia for a white-ball series, which will include three ODIs and five T20Is. The series will commence with the ODI leg on October 19th.

Jasprit Bumrah to miss the ODIs against Australia, set to feature in the T20Is

After a hectic month, which included the Asia Cup and the home Test series against the West Indies, India's star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been given a short break from the upcoming ODIs.

He, however, will feature in the T20I leg of the tour, strengthening India's bowling prowess.

Bumrah's workload management has been one of the primary concerns of the Team management, and the side has often prioritized managing the pacer. He ended the continental event with 7 wickets in 5 games.

Bumrah played three of the five Tests against England earlier this year while he played the majority of the Asia Cup 2025 games.

The pacer was not at his best during the Asia Cup. While he bowled decently well in some of the games, he had some poor outings by his standards in others.

With a T20 World Cup coming up next year, the pacer would be more integral in the T20I setup and hence has been included in the shorter version.
