Having qualified for the next round of the tournament, India faced Oman at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday, September 19.
They entered the game following their convincing wins over UAE and Pakistan, accumulating 4 points at the top of the table.
India made two changes to their playing XI, to give opportunities to as many players in the squad ahead of Super Fours. Funnily, Suryakumar Yadav forgot the changes at the toss and compared himself to Rohit Sharma.

Suryakumar Yadav takes a fun jab at Rohit Sharma at the toss
As many teammates reveal, India's ODI captain is known for his habit of forgetting things while travelling with the team. He has also previously shown a glimpse of this habit at the toss, where he has missed out on the changes in the XI.
Citing Sharma's habit, Yadav saw a funny side to forgetting the change and said he is turning into his Mumbai Indians and Mumbai teammate.
"We've got Harshit...and the second change — let me remember. Oh my God! I am becoming like...I've become like Rohit [Sharma]," he laughed.

It was only later revealed that alongside Harshit Rana, it was Arshdeep Singh who returned to India's XI for the match.
Notably, the left-arm pacer is stranded on 99 T20I wickets since January 31, when he last featured for India in a T20I against England. He will now have an opportunity to become the first Indian to reach the feat in absence of Jasprit Bumrah from the XI.
