Despite his strong performances against India, including a brisk century in the ODI World Cup 2023 final at Ahmedabad, Head clarified that India is not his favourite opponent.
India and Australia have been the greatest rivals in world cricket across formats in the past few years. The two sides are set to lock horns again in a white-ball series starting next week.

In a chat with Star Sports ahead of the ODI series, Head shed light on the fierce rivalry between the two champion sides. He mentioned that even though India is not his favourite opponent to bat against, he looks forward to playing against the side, given the high level of competition between the teams.
"I don't feel like they are my favourites, I just feel like we play them enough. It's not hard to get up for the contest; it's hugely competitive. Looking forward to preparing well, being ready to go, hopefully I can contribute to what's a successful summer for us.

Head has always been a nightmare for the Indian cricket fans. The batter snatched up two ICC titles from the Men In Blue, through his match-winning performances in the 2023 CWC Final and the WTC Final.
