Months after their divorce, Yuzvendra Chahal's ex-wife Dhanashree Verma is all set to feature in Amazon MX Player's new reality show Rise and Shine.

After marrying in December 2020, the couple legally divorced earlier in 2022, following long-standing reports of separation.

The leg-spinner went on to play for the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 season as they reached the final of the competition and eventually lost the final by just six runs.

In the competition, the bowler played 14 matches and took 16 wickets at an average of 26/88 and an economy of 9.56 -- his best figures of 4/28 came in a record-breaking 111-run defence against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Mullanpur.

In this article, TSN takes a look at the list of participants who will share the screen with Dhanashree in the show.

Who are the participants of Rise and Fall?

In the recently released promo of the show, businessman Ashneer Grover was announced as the host, while the likes of Kiku Sharda and Kubbra Sait joining Dhanashree in the list of 16 contestants.

So far, only 4 contestants have been announced alongside the host, Grover. The other participants are expected to be announced when the show begins on September 6.

When it comes to the out-of-favour India spinner Chahal, the bowler is currently with Northamptonshire County in England to play the County Championship and the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

He scalped 4/51 on his return to County cricket in June against Kent, followed by a 6/118 in his third appearance of the season against Derbyshire in July.

After his County stint, he will proceed to prepare for the upcoming domestic season, where he will be representing Haryana.
