The Asia Cup 2025 has reached its business end as the two teams for the final have been set. Reigning champions India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the tournament decider on Sunday, September 28, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India and Pakistan have already clashed twice in the ongoing tournament and the Men in Blues have emerged victorious on both occassions comprehensively.

Both matches saw controversies erupt on the pitch, which has led to a tussle between the PCB and the BCCI, involving the ICC.

Ahead of the high-voltage clash in Dubai, there was, however, some lighthearted banter involving Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan.

What did Shoaib Akhtar Say?

A clip of former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has gone viral, where he can be heard mistaking Indian opener Abhishek Sharma with Abhishek Bachchan.

While analysing the strengths and weaknesses of both teams, Akhtar can be heard saying: "If Pakistan get Abhishek Bachchan out early on in a hypothetical situation, then what is going to happen with the middle-order? Their middle-order hasn't performed well."
