Prankster King Kenny beat Brazilian comedian Whindersson Nunes in the headline fight of the latest influencer event in Dublin.

Influencer Elle Brooke — the recipient of tens of million of likes on TikTok — also featured, as did 6ar6ie6, an Australian describing herself as a "six-foot goth girl who likes dolls and lifting heavy things".

Here's what we know about Kingpyn Boxing and its involvement in the tournament.

What is Kingpyn Boxing?

Kingpyn is an organisation that puts on fights between high-profile individuals not usually known for their boxing.

These have often been influencers and YouTube stars, taking advantage of the crossover appeal of celebrities stepping into the ring.

Among Kingpyn's fights in 2022, Brooke beat AJ Bunker in the co-headline bout of a card at London's O2 Indigo billed as "the biggest TikTok boxing event of the year."

AnEsonGib was dropped early in his fight with McBroom but stormed back and dropped his adversary five times. Following a generous attempt by referee Jack Reiss to keep the fight going, he then called it off, awarding AnEsonGib the knockout win.

Kingpyn's involvement in High Stakes

The High Stakes tournament features men and women with a combined social media following said to eclipse 210 million.

Kingpyn organised the initial event at the 12,500-capacity Wembley Arena, dubbed "the world’s first influencer boxing tournament".

The tournament is structured over three events marking the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, with each boxer fighting three times.

That means the winners and losers face each other in the second event and the closing event arranges further fights to decide the final tournament standings.
