Tyler Adams saw an opportunity.
The United States midfielder, playing in the English Premier League for Bournemouth, didn't mind that he had just crossed midfield.
The goalkeeper for Sunderland was well out of his goal. Adams let it fly.
And after an arcing path through the pouring rain, the ball found the back of the net.

Bournemouth opened up a 2-0 lead on this goal but actually lost on the day as Sunderland scored the next three goals.
Adams won't remember the goal quite as fondly because of the defeat.
But he's not a usual goalscorer. He's known more as a connector and a defender in the midfield.
No matter what, this one will always remain a part of Adams' lifetime highlight reel.
