As the NFL season enters the month of December, the Denver Broncos are soaring.
Sean Payton, Bo Nix and co. Have a record of 10-2 and are leading the AFC West, looking to capture their first division title since 2015, when they won Super Bowl 50. With one of the NFL's best defenses and skill on the offensive side of the ball, Denver has the look of another postseason run.
Next up for the AFC contender is its division rival, the Las Vegas Raiders. Under year one with head coach Pete Carroll, Las Vegas has not had the best season, sitting at 2-10 in the basement of the division.
While their season is pretty much over, the Raiders will be motivated to play their best football at home against a familiar opponent. Las Vegas' defense, despite the team's record, has shown flashes of disrupting elite offenses, meaning the AFC contender cannot afford to overlook this game in their push toward the postseason.
For Denver, a win would go a long way to clinching the division title its been seeking for a decade. For Las Vegas, it's a critical opportunity to get things going and play spoiler.
