Three well-known artists were set to take the stage for the NFL's 2025 Thanksgiving games. The first was fresh off his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction with The White Stripes.

Jack White performed at halftime of the Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions matchup in the first NFL Thanksgiving game. White is a Detroit native who is now a solo singer and guitarist well-known for his work in the bands The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.

The 12-time Grammy Award winner certainly put on a show — not only did he perform the hit football stadium song "Seven Nation Army," but he also brought out another Detroit superstar, rapper Eminem.

Jack White halftime show reviews

White's performance wasn't terribly long, but fans — especially in Detroit — seemed to love it. Not only did he bring some much-needed energy with the Lions trailing at halftime, but he added an unexpected twist to the show by bringing out Eminem.

The Detroit rapper was known to be an executive producer for the show, but his addition for "Till I Collapse" had fans going wild.

Some fans gave the halftime show pretty high praise, even putting it above previous Super Bowl halftime shows.

White's live performance of "Seven Nation Army" also had fans noting how special it was to hear the song live at a football game, rather than over the speakers, as it's usually played.

Overall, it was a celebration of Detroit music that featured two full-on superstar artists from the area. Could it get much better than that for a Lions halftime show?
