The New York Jets need more out of their wide receivers in the Week 11 game against the New England Patriots and that includes John Metchie III.
That's because the Jets' No. 1 wide receiver, Garrett Wilson, is on injured reserve with a knee injury that will sideline him for at least the next four games.
However, Metchie has not gotten going yet early on in the Thursday night contest versus New England's AFC East rival.
Let's find out what's going on.
Is John Metchie playing tonight?
Metchie is active and even got the starting nod, he just wasn't targeted on the opening drive.
Believe it or not, the Jets' offense actually put together a successful opening series, but it was very run-heavy, so there wasn't much of a chance for Metchie to get going.
We'll see if things change on drive No. 2.
