The New York Jets fell to the New England Patriots 27-14. After an impressive first drive, Justin Fields looked to be on the upswing.
However, his struggles the rest of the game led the Jets to their eighth loss of the year, ending a two-game win streak. On one of his final plays, Fields couldn't handle a low snap, struggled to pick it up, leading to a fumble recovery for the Patriots.
After that brutal, essentially game-ending play, Jets writer Zack Rosenblatt for The Athletic made a brutal comment on Fields. He had seen enough and called for the Jets to bench him.

"That should be Justin Fields' last snap as the Jets quarterback." Rosenblatt writes. "Enough."
Aaron Glenn didn't make that fumbled snap the last of Fields' Jets career, as he went out for the final drive of the game for the Jets. Down 17, Fields drove 50 yards on 12 plays, taking up four minutes and 39 seconds of game time.
Down three scores, that time-consuming final drive made a comeback near impossible for the Jets. He took two sacks on the drive and finished his Week 11 performance with 15/26 passing for 116 yards and one touchdown, with 67 rushing yards and a touchdown.

The Jets' passing game isn't good enough with Fields at quarterback, and it's been an issue all year. Three of his last five games had had 54 passing yards or fewer. He's taking a lot of sacks, and while he's not turning the ball over, he's not connecting on many passes.
Despite the Jets' Week 10 win over the Cleveland Browns, he had 54 passing yards, 42 of which came on a screen pass to Breece Hall. Fields has held the Jets offense back, and Rosenblatt has seen enough.
Glenn has made no indication that a quarterback change is coming, but this loss might lead Glenn to finally bench Fields for Tyrod Taylor. Rosenblatt is done with Fields, but for now, the Jets aren't making the change just yet.
