There hasn't been much for New York Jets fans to cheer about throughout the 2025 season.
Amid a 2-8 start, it's obvious the Jets are a ways away from competing with the best of the best, and are still building the roster up for the future.
There have been some bright spots, though, and among them, 2025 first-round pick Armand Membou is a building block player who should be a staple on the right side of the Jets' offensive line for years to come.
Armand Membou has another outstanding outing
Membou had himself a night on Thursday against the New England Patriots, and it was another fantastic showing from the seventh overall pick in this past April's draft.
"The #Jets rookie RT finished with a 77.8 PFF grade, allowing 1 pressure on 33 pass-block snaps. Also had a team-best 75.3 run-block grade. Membou is now PFF’s 5th highest graded RT in 2025," wrote Justin Fried on X.
"He is one of only 11 OTs in the NFL to record both a PFF pass-block and run-block grade of 72.0+. Already one of the best RTs in the NFL at just 21 years old. Awesome football player."
While the Jets are going to need to address several positions across the roster, the offensive line is going to need minimal work.
Membou looks like a stud, and 2024 first-round pick Olu Fashanu is having a fine sophomore season as well.
Joe Tippman has developed well in his first year playing guard full-time, and it's beginning to look like New York may be a solid landing spot for a rookie quarterback come 2026.
