After losing wide receiver Malik Nabers for the season to a torn ACL, fellow wideout Wan'Dale Robinson has become the New York Giants' No. 1 target in the passing game.

Entering Week 13, Robinson has tallied 794 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. The yardage output is already the best of his career with five games left to play, and he has tied his career-high touchdowns mark.

Robinson's best season as a pro comes at the perfect time, as the former second-round pick is set to be a free agent next year. That gives him a ton of motivation to keep giving 110% despite the Giants already being eliminated from playoff contention.

Robinson is coming off his best game this season, when he tallied 156 yards and one touchdown in the Week 12 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Wan'Dale Robinson's production with Jaxson Dart

Robinson's best game of the season came with Jameis Winston under center, so that's certainly important to point out when taking a look at his Week 13 outlook because Jaxson Dart is now back in the lineup after recovering from his concussion.

From Weeks 4 to 10 when Dart made his seven starts this season, Robinson averaged 8.1 targets, 5.4 catches and 54.1 yards per game while only scoring one touchdown.

However, not all of his games saw pedestrian production. Robinson had 84 yards or more in two of those games, including a 95-yard performance in Week 7, so he's clearly capable of out-producing those averages on Monday night.

Wan'Dale Robinson's Week 13 matchup

Robinson draws a matchup against a New England Patriots defense that is giving up 226.8 yards per game to pass-catchers, which ranks 16th in the NFL, making this a middle-of-the-road matchup for the veteran wideout.

The Patriots have been more giving when it comes to receiving touchdowns allowed, with New England surrendering 20, tied for the 10th-most in the NFL.

One big concern for New York's passing attack is the fact that the Patriots have two good cornerbacks on the boundary in Carlton Davis and Christian Gonzalez.

The good news is, Robinson plays the majority of his snaps in the slot, with 67.5% of his playing time coming in that area this season, according to Pro Football Focus.

That means Robinson should avoid Gonzalez and Davis more often than not on Monday night, which is a huge plus for his chances of producing.

Can Wan'Dale Robinson stay hot?

There is absolutely a scenario where Robinson produces big in Week 13.

Dart's opportunities on the outside are going to be limited thanks to the presences of Gonzalez and Davis, so he's going to have no choice but to funnel the ball to Robinson over the middle of the field, which should lead to a strong outing.
