Tyrone Tracy Jr. injury update is bad news for Giants on rough night image

The New York Giants were having a no good, very bad night in New England against the Patriots on Monday.

It got worse in the fourth quarter when running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. Went down with an injury.

Tracy stayed down for a while to be attended to by trainers after being sandwiched by a tackle.

He had to be carted off with a hip injury.

If Tracy misses time, Devin Singletary becomes the full-time RB1 for the Giants.

They're already down a man in the backfield after rookie Cam Skattebo's season-ending injury earlier in the campaign.

Tracy is a 26-year old running back who has a lot of talent. He looked like he might be the RB of the future before Skattebo arrived.

Now, he's just trying to prove he still belongs. It'll be tough to do that if he can't be on the field.

It's not yet clear how much time Tracy might miss. The Giants will fall to 2-11 with a loss, so it's not like they need him now.

At this point, they'll just want everyone healthy for the start of the 2026 season.
