The New England Patriots won't have the services of wide receiver Kayshon Boutte for the Week 11 game against the New York Jets.
Boutte sustained a hamstring injury in the Week 9 win over the Atlanta Falcons that forced his early exit from the contest. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel labeled his injured wideout as day to day.
In Week 10, Boutte did not practice at all before ultimately being ruled out for the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Will the Patriots get their No. 2 wide receiver back in Week 12? Here's what we know.
When is Kayshon Boutte coming back?
We don't have an official answer to this question yet, but Boutte showed signs of progress this week that make us believe he'll return in Week 12.
Boutte was able to log three limited practices this week before being ruled out. That amounts to an upgrade from last week, when Boutte didn't practice at all.
Want more optimism?
The Patriots will have extra time between now and their Week 12 game thanks to New England playing on Thursday night in Week 11.
All in all, we would say there's a good chance we see Boutte return to action next week.
