Drake Maye and Caleb Williams are making the 2024 NFL Draft QB class look really good.

The second-year quarterbacks for the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears have their teams atop the standings.

The Pats hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC through 13 weeks after winning their 10th consecutive game, beating the Giants on Monday night to improve to 11-2 on the season.

The Bears are 9-3 after a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday. That's good enough for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

If these spots hold, it'll make history: Never have two quarterbacks under 25 led their teams to the top conference seeds, according to OptaStats.

To complete the job, the Patriots will first rest up. They haven't even had their bye yet, and they get it in Week 14.

Then they play the Bills, Ravens, Jets and Dolphins. If they can get to the Jets game still in the lead, it seems likely they'd finish the job.

The Bears finish Packers, Browns, Packers, 49ers, Lions. That'll be a trickier finishing stretch, especially given the implications on the NFC North from those two Packers games (where Green Bay can also overtake Chicago for the overall top seed, too).

These young QBs haven't wavered yet, though. They certainly appear equipped to keep leading their teams to victory.
