Two of the main members of the New England Patriots' receiving corps got off to great starts in Week 9 on Sunday.
First, it was DeMario 'Pop' Douglas catching a touchdown.
Then, it was Stefon Diggs with a sweet run after the catch to get his own touchdown.
But one key piece has left the game.
Kayshon Boutte exited with an injury.
The Patriots eventually deemed him questionable to return with a hamstring injury. In the third quarter, Boutte was ruled out for the rest of the game.
Boutte is in his third NFL season. He did almost nothing in year one, but he's gotten it going the last two seasons.

In 2024, Boutte had 43 catches for 589 yards.
This season, Boutte entered Sunday with already 23 grabs for 431 yards and five touchdowns.
Drake Maye has grown to enjoy delivering the ball down the field for Boutte.
Boutte has already made a couple of circus catches this season.
The Pats will hope his hamstring doesn't keep him out long. That's a tricky injury for a speedy player.
New England will make do with the rest of its talented receiving corps in the meantime.
