The Los Angeles Rams began the playoffs with a 34-31 win over Carolina, and—unsurprisingly—the victory came on the backs of their stars.
Wide receiver Puka Nacua led the Rams to an early lead, scoring the first two touchdowns of the postseason. He cooled a bit as the game progressed, however, and even dropped a clear TD pass that hit him in the hands late in the first half. Nacua returned late in the game, making a couple of key catches in the fourth quarter and finishing with over 100 yards.
The Panthers held Nacua at bay the last time these teams played, but he showed up on Wildcard Weekend and helped his team escape a hostile road environment with a win.
Here’s how Nacua helped will his team against the Panthers.
