When the Kansas City Chiefs got their full array of weapons back in Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, we saw the offense take off and become rather scary.
In fact, it was a big reason for the franchise winning five out of its last six games before succumbing to the Buffalo Bills 28-21 at Highmark Stadium.
The offense never felt like it really got going against Buffalo, with Sean McDermott putting together a serious game plan along with defensive coordinator Bobby Babich, and made it difficult for Patrick Mahomes, who would finish his day going 15 of 34 for 250 yards and a passer rating of just 57.2.
For ESPN's Bill Barnwell, the loss to the Bills proved that despite the Chiefs having all of their attacking weapons available, they won't be blowing teams off the field regularly.
"Nobody's going to take this loss as proof that the Bills are going to win a rematch after what has happened over the past few years, but this was more a sign that the Chiefs aren't going to steamroll everybody now that they've got Rice and Worthy in the lineup together," Barnwell wrote.

Where Chiefs found out by Bills?
There is a thought out there that the Bills are built to try and stop the Chiefs, and the offseason moves for Joey Bosa, Michael Hoecht, and Larry Ogunjobi were all made with one thing in mind -- to get after Mahomes.
And on Sunday, no one can doubt that the defensive line, along with the secondary, put the Chiefs in a bind all game.
Now, this is nothing new, especially in the regular season, and come the playoffs, the Chiefs always get their revenge and end Buffalo's season (4-0 in the last four games in the postseason vs. Bills).
So, is this more of the Bills playing well and executing their game plan or the Chiefs being found out? It is a little of both, and unfortunately for Buffalo, this win doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things because when it really counts, the Chiefs come through.
Are the winds of change blowing through the AFC? That, my friends, is quite the question.
