Trevor Lawrence was taken No.1 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. For the first time in his career, he looks ready to lead the Jacksonville Jaguars on a deep playoff run.
It's been eight years since the Jaguars made their third franchise appearance in the AFC championship game. As the No. 3 seed in the 2025-2026 postseason field, they had their best chance since to make it a fourth time, still looking for their first-ever Super Bowl, before coming up short on wild-card weekend.
Here's looking at Lawrence's brief playoff past, all coming after a 2022 regular season in which the Jaguars, like the 13-4 version of 2025, won the AFC South.

Lawrence flashed in his first playoff trip, leading an epic comeback from 27-0 against the Chargers at home. He got plenty of help from his former college teammate, Travis Etienne Jr., running well on Los Angeles.
In their attempt to upset the Chiefs, Lawrence fell short in his road duel with Patrick Mahomes, with the Jaguars failing to overcome a touchdown deficit at halftime. That was a strong end to Lawrence's second season after the rookie mess under Urban Meyer.
In 2025, the Jaguars' season ended with a thud when they lost a back-and-forth battle with the Buffalo Bills at home. Lawrence ended the game with an interception that landed in the hands of Cole Bishop.

While his passer rating improved after his third playoff start, Lawrence threw his sixth and seventh career playoff interceptions in a loss to the Bills, extending the trend of turnovers being his biggest vulnerability in the postseason.
