The Indianapolis Colts shocked the NFL on Tuesday.
Less than four hours before the trade deadline, the Colts swung a blockbuster deal with the New York Jets. In came star cornerback Sauce Gardner, and out went Adonai Mitchell and a pair of first-round picks.
Gardner had just signed a contract extension over the summer. No one even had a sense he was available, let alone that a team like Indy would make the move.
The Colts, at 7-2, have Gardner not just for this season but through 2029.
That's all well and good, of course, but it's less clear whether Gardner will play in Week 10 take on the Falcons in Berlin.

Will Sauce Gardner make his Colts debut in Week 10?
Sauce Gardner's debut depends on one thing: Clearing concussion protocol.
Colts coach Shane Steichen told reporters that Gardner would practice on Wednesday and that he just needs to get through protocol by Sunday's game to take the field.
Steichen did confirm that if Gardner gets through concussion protocol, he will play.
The Colts would love to get Gardner out there immediately. The matchup with the Falcons means a showdown with high-volume WR Drake London.
Indy also would love to bounce back after the disappointing Week 9 loss to the Steelers. If they can get Sauce out there, that'll be a big help, too.
