On X, Rivers shared one of the most famous verses in the Bible, Jeremiah 29:11:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Rivers had certainly moved into the next phase of his life after the 2020 season with the Colts.

It's certainly got the potential to be a cool story.

Rivers is trusting that this plan for him is the right one.
