Dak Prescott has NSFW response to Cowboys' Quinnen Williams trade image

The Dallas Cowboys, as expected, were buyers on trade deadline day, with Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson the first domino to fall.

But the second was one? No one saw it coming.

The Cowboys traded for All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets, sending a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, along with former first-round defensive tackle Mazi Smith back the other way.

Dallas made a move for the now and future with Williams still under contract through 2026, when there is an escape hatch in his deal.

There have been mixed reactions to the Williams trade, but make no mistake, Dak Prescott is all for it.

Per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, when passing Dak in the locker room, he asked No. 4 about the Williams trade, to which Prescott responded.

"I'm (expletive) pumped. You can quote me on that."

Cowboys fortify defensive line with Williams trade

With Kenny Clark, Osa Odighizuwa, and now Williams, the Cowboys' interior defensive line has some serious juice, and with all three of those making $20 million plus APY, Dallas has gone all in on fixing that part of the defense.

But the secondary is still in a bad spot, and while Shavon Revel Jr. And safeties Donovan Wilson and Malik Hooker all thought to be involved in some capacity against the Las Vegas Raiders after the bye week, many feel more is needed.

Sticking with the Williams trade, the Cowboys needed something positive after the Arizona Cardinals debacle, and now they have it. Will it be enough for this team to go on a run and make the playoffs?

That is up for debate, but at least for once, Dallas didn't sit on its hands. It got proactive and brought an All-Pro defensive tackle to The Star.
