It was still a great day for Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Despite the Browns not getting a win, Sanders showed he can be the quarterback of the future for this organization.
And for a fan base that’s been searching for that for a very long time, that might be more important than wins and losses at the moment.
Sanders completed 54.8% of his passes, throwing for 364 yards and three touchdowns. He finished with a 97.7 passer rating and also found the end zone on the ground.
After everything the young man has had to go through over the past year or so, it’s only fair that his supporters are now taking victory laps.
Sanders has unfairly been blamed for far too much, and he has proven during his time with the Browns that he wants to go out and play good football.
For his father, Deion Sanders, it’s clear he’s very proud of his son.
"Wow! But guess what GOD IS SO SO SO SO GOOD! We’re gonna praise him consistently with Passion & Purpose! #Dad @ShedeurSanders @DeiondraSanders @DeionSandersJr @ShiloSanders @shelomi_sanders," he posted on X.
It’s great to see the Sanders family come together, especially after dealing with a lot of unnecessary hate.
Some don’t like Deion because of his flash, and the same can be said for Shedeur.
Unfortunately for the haters out there, when they go out and take care of business on the field, there isn’t much left to say.
