The Cincinnati Bengals held onto Trey Hendrickson through the NFL trade deadline, declining the paltry trade offers from around the league.

But two weeks after the deadline, the Bengals might've been better off taking anything, as Hendrickson has been banged up.

Now, as Underdog NFL shares on Twitter/x, the Bengals' All-Pro pass rusher is going to miss another game, as Hendrickson's status update for Week 11 has him ruled out.

Bengals to be without Trey Hendrickson for another week

Hendrickson is ruled out for Week 11, as the Bengals take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a massive matchup for the AFC North. A Bengals win could have Cincinnati in the playoff race, while a loss would be brutal for their chances.

In such an important matchup, they'll be without their all-Pro pass rusher. Hendrickson is dealing with a hip injury and hasn't played the last few weeks. He missed Week 9 and will now miss Week 11.

He suffered the injury on a brutal hit that could've been a flag against the New York Jets in Week 8, and despite the bye week giving him an extra week of rest, Hendrickson is still not back yet for Cincinnati.

After an offseason contract dispute and in-season trade rumors, the Bengals held onto the $29 million pass rusher for the rest of the 2025 season.

He's set to be a free agent at season's end, and with how the 2025 season has gone, his chances of returning to the Bengals look slim.

But this hip injury isn't helping Hendrickson seek the massive deal he wants to sign in free agency. He's missed two weeks now, and if he continues to miss more time, his upcoming contract could be a bit lower than it would've been had he been healthy.

So far in 2025, Hendrickson has 16 tackles and four sacks, with one forced fumble in his age-30 season and ninth overall. He's missing Week 11 against the Steelers with a hip injury, and his status for Week 12 will be one to closely monitor.
