The Baltimore Ravens expect Lamar Jackson to play on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

But the superstar QB is dealing with knee soreness, and that could be a problem in this matchup.

That's because across the line is number 95, Myles Garrett, one of the most imposing pass rushers to ever step onto a football field.

"He's probably one of the best edge rushers this league has ever seen," Ravens fullback Patrick Ricard told ESPN.

ESPN's Jamison Hensley laid out this specific reason for some concern:

"QB Lamar Jackson isn't at full strength because of knee soreness, which puts extra emphasis on protecting him from edge rusher Myles Garrett. In Garrett's past nine games against Baltimore, he has recorded 8.5 sacks and 14 QB hits."

The Ravens have already allowed more sacks this season than they did all of last season.

They're favored by a touchdown, but this could be a tricky game in Cleveland. The last four times these teams have met, they've outscored the betting total, which means a surprise shootout could be in order.

That would clash with the idea of the Browns' defense being dominant, though, so if it's low-scoring, Cleveland might actually hold an edge given it gets to go up against a much weaker Ravens defense.

Garrett's ability to get to Jackson will likely determine a large portion of how this game plays out.

And each time Jackson is hit, those on the Baltimore sideline will be keeping an eye on his bothersome knee, just in case. The Ravens can't afford to lose him.
