Kyler Murray's time in the desert might be coming to an end.
The Arizona Cardinals have performed better with Jacoby Brissett on the field at quarterback, and Murray is currently out injured as the season rolls into the second half.
Speculation around the league has been about Murray not making it to 2026 with the Cards.
"I'm leaning toward Murray not sticking in Arizona in 2026," writes ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "Murray has spent seven seasons under center, and Arizona has one winning season and zero playoff wins to show for it. It feels like it's time."
Fowler and his colleague Dan Graziano went on to list four possible destinations for Murray.
They start with the New York Jets, who just tried this route with Justin Fields this season and didn't have it work. Murray is more proven than Fields, though, and could be a solution if the Jets don't draft one.
Then it's the Cleveland Browns, who still haven't solved the QB position and will probably draft one given that they have two first-round picks.
They add the Miami Dolphins, if they're ready to move on from Tua Tagovailoa.
And then they throw in the Los Angeles Rams, which might be the most intriguing. Murray could run Sean McVay's offense once Matthew Stafford retires.
"Coaches love reclamation projects, and I think Murray can be salvaged," Fowler writes.
It's all about the new destination and the belief they have in Murray. He's still got the talent that he likely still has believers, too.
