Texas fans hit Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia with 'overrated' chant image

The Texas Longhorns might've hit a second wind. After taking a 34-10 lead going into the fourth quarter over No. 9 Vanderbilt, Steve Sarkisian's team looks like a Playoff contender. And the Longhorn fans let them know it, too.

After Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia scored on a touchdown run in the fourth quarter, the Texas faithful started to chant "overrated" at the Heisman candidate. The score cut into Texas' lead, but it seemed to be too late to make a difference with the Longhorns up 34-16 with four minutes left.

Arch Manning has bounced back with over 300 yards and three touchdowns. Texas is on the way to a 7-2 record and will keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive for another week. However, if the team can keep up the momentum, this will be one of the storylines to watch as the season progresses.

Texas will face a tough task with No. 5 Georgia in two weeks. The SEC showdown will be on the biggest for the Horns' postseason chances.
