Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver KC Concepcion made an immediate fashion statement in the biggest in-state rivalry.
The NC State transfer debuted custom “Horns Down” cleats that leaned fully into the most recognizable hand sign. The predominantly white cleats featured a maroon trim logo outlined on the back.
Concepcion broke into the matchup quickly, pulling in three catches for 35 yards at halftime.

The renewal of the rivalry came last year after starting in 1894 and was long a staple of the former Southwest Conference.
Concepcion’s decision to wear them shows a season built on individual expression, but also how the rivalry is more than a game, including a potential SEC Championship berth with a win.
