It has to be the worst feeling in sports.
A short kick, to tie the game, no problem, right?
But this time, Ohio State's Jayden Fielding missed.
OSU trailed Indiana, 13-10, with less than three minutes to play in the Big Ten title game.
Fielding lined up for a 27-yard field goal from the right hashmark.
He pulled it wide left.

There was 2:48 left in the game when Indiana got the ball back with a chance to run out the Hoosiers' first conference championship in more than a half-century.
Fielding hasn't been perfect this season, but he's generally pretty reliable. He was 15-for-17 on the season entering the night. He had also gone 13-for-17 on FGs (with misses against Michigan) and 73-for-73 on extra points for the 2024 national champions.
On this one, his ability just didn't quite come through.
There's one piece of good news for Fielding: Ohio State should remain in the CFP Rankings' top-four, which will get it a first-round bye. The No. 1 seed it was holding onto wouldn't have changed much in the grand scheme of things.
But now, Fielding has raised doubts about what the Buckeyes should do in big moments in the CFP. This certainly isn't ideal.
