What Deion Sanders said about Colorado Buffaloes quarterback situation before Wyoming image

Another week and another change under center for the Colorado Buffaloes? That's the biggest question this week in Boulder. After Kaidon Salter started the season at quarterback against Georgia Tech, will he be given another chance to shine this week against Wyoming?

Colorado coach Deion Sanders was asked about his plans during Tuesday's press conference. He says he knows who his starter is, but wouldn't reveal any details.

All three quarterbacks played in the 31-7 victory over Delaware. Salter was replaced last week by Buffs third-string QB Ryan Staub. The game against Houston didn't do him any favors. He went 19-of-35 for 204 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in the loss

"Leadership and consistency," Sanders said about what he wants from his starting quarterback.

Some critics called for five-star phenom Julian Lewis to start this week against the Cowboys. But given his short stint in the Delaware game, there is a clear disconnect between how the offense should run and what happened.

We'll see if reversing course back to Salter will boost the offense or not. Otherwise, Staub will try to bounce back. Colorado's offense has averaged 23.6 points per game in the early going.
